Vučić will ask Dodik to cancel the referendum

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić opposes the citizens' referendum on the Day of Republika Srpska, Danas newspaper has learned.

Vučić will ask Dodik to cancel the referendum, Danas points out on the front page, citing diplomatic sources close to the Serbian Government.

There is no more precise information on whether Vučić and Dodik have already discussed this, or when Vučić plans to do so.

The High Representative of the international community in BiH, Valentin Inzko, reacting to accusations that his office is not reacting to the referendum, said that he can suspend it, but that the outcome of the talks between US Vice President Joseph Biden and the Serbian Prime Minister is awaited.
