Vučić: Americans are creating a special bloc in Europe

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that Americans are creating a bloc within Europe, which will consist of Poland, the Baltic states, and Ukraine. Vučić spoke about the global situation, saying that Americans are creating a new bloc in Europe which will significantly affect Serbia as well.

"You can check your archives when I said on November 25, 2021, after my visit to Sochi, that difficult times await us, not because Putin told me there would be a war. He always set aside 45 minutes to talk about Ukraine. This time he didn't speak for even three minutes. That was enough for me. I said a decision had been made. I unequivocally said that certain changes would occur. I was just following, listening, and putting the facts together," Vučić said, appearing on TV Pink this morning.

Since Ukraine will not easily win militarily, he expects it to gain significant momentum on its European path, with the urgent start of European negotiations, "because the Americans are creating a bloc within Europe, creating a special bloc that is not small, Poland, the Baltic states plus Ukraine.".

"These five countries, you will have countries that are larger than France and approaching Germany. Then it is clear that this quintet or sextet with Romania becomes the strongest in Europe after Germany. We want to position ourselves as a Central European country, which is why we have increasingly close relations with Hungary. This will change the dynamics of our relationship with Europe. I want to believe it will be in a positive sense, but for us, there are limiting factors regarding sanctions against Russia and Kosovo," he said, as reported by Blic.

He added that it is interesting what happened at the Council of Europe session, a significant change towards China.

"Until now, it was our economic partner, our competitor, and a systemic rival. For the first time, Ursula von der Leyen called it a strategic rival. America will be dominant in Europe. It sees China as a strategic adversary," Vučić emphasized.
