Vučić to call elections on March 4

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced today that he will call parliamentary elections on March 4, upon his return from Washington.

"The campaign will be long, more than 50 days. Everyone has time to prepare. When campaigns are long, you don't need to rush, because you can't reach the peak of the campaign if you don't make the best tactics, but everyone will have enough time to present their programs," Vučić said on RTS.

Vučić emphasized that he hopes the list he will lead will achieve a good result.

"I call on people for unity, for a joint fight for the further progress of Serbia and the preservation of peace. To respond to all the challenges we face with unity," said Vučić

Parliamentary and local elections in Serbia will be held on April 26 this year, it was previously confirmed by Vučić's cabinet.
