High Representative Valentin Inzko received members of the Croatian Parliament

SARAJevo, (Patria) - High Representative Valentin Inzko today in Sarajevo received a delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Croatian Parliament, led by Committee President Miro Kovač.

The topic of the meeting was the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as issues related to Euro-Atlantic integration. The High Representative informed the Croatian delegation about the unified stance of the international community that domestic institutions should take all necessary steps to ensure the unimpeded conduct of the 2018 elections and the implementation of election results. He offered full support to the process led by the EU and the US, which aims to overcome differences in the implementation of the Ljubić case ruling, and reiterated that the OHR is ready to continue providing expert legal support.

Inzko also underlined the essential importance of good neighborly relations between BiH and Croatia: "It is in the interest of both countries to maintain good relations. BiH and Croatia are interdependent. Croatia's support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's Euro-Atlantic aspirations is a significant resource. Croatia's experience in this process, if wisely utilized, can facilitate Bosnia and Herzegovina's transition," said Inzko.
