BEOGRAD, (Patria) - President of the Youth Forum of the Nova stranka Uroš Eleković said at the One in Five Million protests in Belgrade that Serbia has been occupied for seven years, at odds with all its neighbours, a country where youth and families have been destroyed and freedom imprisoned.
Eleković told those gathered at the Terazije Fountain that the "gang" that was driven away on 5 October 2000 had returned, and that the same happened in 2003 and 2012, but that there are still "many brave people in Serbia who will oppose it", the Nova stranka reported in a statement.
"They have imprisoned our freedom as the greatest value. Seven years ago, when they formed the first government, with illiterate, uneducated and ill-mannered people, they captured democracy and destroyed our society. They can change their clothes, tell us how they have changed, but we know who we are dealing with," Eleković emphasised.
He said that the people face two tasks, one is "that the gang, led by Vučić, must go into history and political past", and that is why protests have been organised for months "demanding conditions for fair and free elections".
