
(Patria) - According to the latest news from Greece, the killer of AEK fan Mihalis Katsouris has been arrested! He is a well-known Panathinaikos fan!
Since the tragic event, the police have arrested 104 people, 97 of whom are Croatian citizens. Among those arrested and suspected of organizing the brawl are three Panathinaikos fans, Greek citizens aged 22, 26, and 27.
On Wednesday, speculations emerged that the killer could be one of the Panathinaikos fans, and on Thursday, a major breakthrough occurred in the investigation, writes Sport Klub.
A Panathinaikos fan, already well-known to the Greek police, a twenty-nine-year-old who had previously served a prison sentence and has been on parole for the last six months, is now the main suspect in the murder of Katsouris.
Citing police reports, Greek media state that the arrested Panathinaikos fan is high on the list of main suspects. It is added that he is among those whose fingerprints and DNA samples have been taken.
However, at the same time, reports indicate that due to numerous and different stab wounds, the police suspect that more than one person was involved in the murder of the AEK fan.
