Suspect arrested in Sisak attack, 45-year-old woman dead, four others wounded, two houses and a car burned down

(Patria) - The attacker who fired an automatic rifle in Sisak, killing one person, was arrested an hour after midnight.

After the shooting, the attacker fled and an extensive search was underway.

In the shooting, a 45-year-old woman was killed, while four people were wounded. They are receiving medical care at the Sisak General Hospital, where it was determined they are seriously injured. Medical assistance was also provided to two people, including a child, who sustained minor injuries while fleeing.

"The man linked to the shooting in the Sisak area has been arrested, he is being brought to police premises and a criminal investigation will be conducted. In the shooting, a 45-year-old woman was killed, while four people were wounded. They are receiving medical care at the Sisak General Hospital, where it was determined they are seriously injured.

During the intervention in this incident, a firefighter sustained minor physical injuries. In the said incident, two family homes and one car were completely burned down, while one house and one car were partially burned," the police announced.
