Victims' associations: Ivanić represents Serbia, The Hague court should ignore his letter

Chairman of the Presidency Mladen Ivanić sent a letter to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, in which he "challenged anyone's right to file applications on behalf of BiH, as there is no decision of BiH institutions..." in the context of the review of BiH's lawsuit against Serbia, Patria writes.

Nine associations of victims, citizens, and genocide survivors sent a public statement.

- The most convincing argument for the judges of the International Court of Justice in The Hague to completely ignore all of Ivanić's challenges to Bosnia and Herzegovina's request for a review is the fact that this same Ivanić, who should represent the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina, goes to the prime minister of the country that Bosnia and Herzegovina is suing, to openly consult with him and agree on how to stop Bosnia and Herzegovina's request for a review.

Such an absurdity and such a moral low have never been recorded in the history of the International Court of Justice. This will surely shock the judges of this Court and be the best proof for them that Ivanić does not represent the interests of the state in whose Presidency he sits and from which he receives a salary, but the interests of the sued Serbia. This is the same Ivanić who, at the beginning of his term, in the Pressing show on N1, when asked by the host for whom he would cheer if Bosnia and Herzegovina played a football match against Serbia, answered: For Serbia, of course!

Therefore, it could be said that Sakib Softić is the authorized agent of Bosnia and Herzegovina before the International Court of Justice, and Mladen Ivanić is the authorized agent of Serbia before the International Court of Justice.

The victims' associations inform the public that they will request the competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, to prosecute all those who are hindering the legal process of Review before the International Court of Justice. Mladen Ivanić accuses Bakir Izetbegović of unconstitutional and extra-institutional action, while Mladen Ivanić and Igor Crnadak are abusing their positions to send letters to the International Court of Justice that have not been approved by the BiH Presidency.

We ask the acting Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office to immediately get involved in documenting the obvious violation of BiH laws and BiH's international rights and obligations guaranteed by international treaties.
