Associations of Srebrenica victims and mothers condemn participation of Željka Cvijanović in Serbian Army exercise

(Patria) - The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the "Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" condemned the participation of the Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, in a military exercise of the Army of the Republic of Serbia.

"After a large number of calls from our returnees from the RS entity, who are following with fear in the media the military exercise of the Army of the Republic of Serbia, which is also attended by Željka Cvijanović, Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on behalf of our returnees we express the strongest condemnation that the Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH participates in an exercise of an army that participated in the occupation of part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We demand a public apology from the Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH, and from the members of the Presidency, Mr. Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, a public statement on whether there is consent of the Presidency for the Chairwoman's participation in the military exercise in Belgrade," the reaction states.
