235 teams clearing snow in Zagreb

There are 235 teams on the ground in Zagreb, snow is being cleared and there are no problems, said the spokesperson for the Winter Service of Zagrebačke ceste, Vlado Suša, during last night's tour, reports the Patria news agency.

- We are obliged to clear snow in the lowland part within 5 to 8 hours after the precipitation stops, and 24 hours after the precipitation stops in the hilly parts. We will fulfill this task, this is not a problem for us, I remember when 80 cm of snow fell and we cleared it, this is a piece of cake for us - said Suša.

Mayor Milan Bandić was picturesque, saying that the snow for them is a "mosquito bite".

- This is a bit of training, we will solve it, no problem, we have well-rehearsed teams - Bandić said and called on fellow citizens to clear the snow in front of their doors, and those who do not will not be fined by the utility services.
