Serbia introduces movement ban from Saturday 1 PM to Monday 5 AM

BELGRADE, (Patria) - 31 people have died from coronavirus in Serbia, and 1,171 are infected. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced new measures, which include a movement ban from Saturday at 1:00 PM to Monday at 5:00 AM. No more than two people can be in one place, and pets can be walked from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Pensioners can still go shopping on Sunday from 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM, says Vučić. The biggest hotspots are Belgrade, Ćuprija, Čačak, and Valjevo.

"The next two weeks will be the hardest blow for us, around April 15-16," says Vučić.

64 doctors and medical staff have been infected with coronavirus.

Serbia will start producing masks, as well as the drug chloroquine.
