735,465 people vaccinated against coronavirus in Serbia

SERBIA, (Patria) - In Serbia, according to the latest government data, 735,465 vaccinations against coronavirus have been carried out.

In terms of the number of vaccinations, Serbia is in seventh place in the world, after Israel, Seychelles, the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, the USA, and Bahrain.

Following Serbia are Malta, Chile, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovenia.

Despite vaccinations, Serbia is considering introducing stricter measures due to the worsening epidemiological situation, and the number of patients with severe clinical conditions is also increasing. 

Three vaccines are in use in Serbia (Russian, Chinese, and Pfizer/BioNTech), and the arrival of AstraZeneca is expected by the end of the month.
