Large group of pedophiles arrested in Serbia

(Patria) - In the "Armageddon" police operation, a large group of pedophiles, sexual predators who committed crimes against girls and boys through internet abuse, were arrested throughout Serbia.

The victims include children aged 3 to 14.

Computers of the suspects were seized in the operation, and concrete material evidence for certain criminal offenses was obtained.

Among the arrested are repeat offenders in the commission of criminal offenses related to the sexual exploitation of minors via the internet.

The safety of children is a priority in the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, the police stated, RTS reports.

The operation was carried out by members of the Directorate for Technology, the Service for Combating High-Tech Crime, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime.
