(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced last night the possibility that the state of emergency in the country could be lifted next week, which also means the lifting of the curfew.
Vučić emphasized that the state is not fond of the state of emergency, because during that period everyone only worked more and fought, and that is why everyone wants to "leave" the state of emergency, for which it is necessary to have seven days similar to these last ones, with an infection rate below five percent.
"I would not rule out the possibility that the state of emergency will be lifted by the end of next week, which also means the lifting of the curfew," Vučić said for RTS.
He added that there will have to be a faster opening of borders, which he says he is simultaneously afraid of, but pointed out that rapid tests will be done at the border so that people can get results as soon as possible.
Commenting on the action "Noise against dictatorship", when citizens bang pots at 8:05 PM dissatisfied with the current situation, he said that it is partly a political protest.
