SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to the latest information from the Ministry of Health, eight new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Serbia.
Thus, the number of infected individuals increased from 57 to 65 between 6 PM on March 16 and 8 AM on March 17.
Samples from 19 individuals were tested, of which 8 were positive and 11 were negative for the novel coronavirus.
Three individuals with mild clinical symptoms are in home isolation, while five individuals are hospitalized, without complications and in stable general condition.
As of 8 AM on March 17, 2020, a total of 335 individuals who met the case definition criteria have been tested at the national reference laboratory of the Torlak Institute.
An decision to introduce a state of emergency is in effect in Serbia.
