Already steep in Rovinj, and the season hasn't even started: Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 100 euros

(Patria) - Unusually high temperatures have brought a summer atmosphere to Rovinj much earlier than usual.

The picturesque Istrian town has practically jumped from a spring mood straight into the peak of the season.

Beaches and rocks by the sea are already surprisingly well-filled with locals and tourists taking advantage of the sunny days to spend time outdoors.

Of course, the most important question when first heading to the beach is whether it's already possible to swim? However, it seems that entering the sea is currently reserved for the more daring.

While many on the shore are still cautiously checking the sea temperature, those who have already ventured into swimming repeat the well-known phrase that marks the start of the season every year: "It's not cold at all once you get used to it!"

In addition to the sea temperature, the prices of sunbed rentals have also become a topic of conversation on Rovinj's beaches. And for those who want maximum comfort, they will have to dig deeper into their pockets.

At one of the most famous locations, below the Hotel Monte Mulini and Lone, the daily rental of a set that includes two sunbeds with a mattress and an umbrella costs around 100 euros. The same set without a mattress is 30 euros cheaper, reports the portal Istra24.

Visitors who want to rent just one standard sunbed will have to set aside 40 euros, while the umbrella is charged an additional 20 euros.
