Croatia: 254 coronavirus patients, earthquakes add to citizens' worries

CROATIA, (Patria) - There are 254 coronavirus patients in Croatia, which is 19 more than the data presented this morning. Information about the infected was presented by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković after a meeting of the state leadership. 

Speaking about the increased number of coronavirus patients, Prime Minister Plenković stated that Croatia is simultaneously facing a crisis due to earthquakes and that the centralized management of both crises is going very well. He emphasized the need for social distancing, saying it makes us healthier than sick. The need for social distancing was also expressed by the Minister of Health Vili Beroš and the Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović. 

So far, there have been more than 30 tremors. Citizens, be careful, it's cold. There are no guarantees about further ground tremors. Those who believe they can stay in their homes, stay in their homes. Those whose homes are damaged, call the published toll-free number to be accommodated, said the Prime Minister.

Plenković stated that personal discipline and social responsibility are most important.
