(Patria) - Due to pollution, swimming is not recommended at Marex beach in the center of Zadar until further notice, announced the Administrative Department for Spatial Planning, Environmental Protection and Communal Affairs of the Zadar County.
The recommendation was issued based on a report from the Zadar Institute of Public Health due to short-term sea pollution.
The City Institute will monitor the quality of the sea and will inform the public when the pollution ceases, it is stated in the announcement.
It is unofficially learned that the pollution was caused by sewage spilling from the канализация.
