
More than 40 people were injured in a stampede that followed a shooting in the center of Pristina's Mother Teresa Square, in which one minor was wounded. The incident occurred during the local "Beer Fest", the Kosovo police announced, reports the Patria agency.
The police state that during a conflict between two young men, who used firearms, one was wounded, which led to general chaos in the streets of Pristina.
Panic ensued, so those gathered at the "Beer Fest" began to flee, and in the process, a stampede occurred in which dozens of people were injured and sought medical help at the hospital.
Pristina media report that after the shooting in the city square, there was real chaos, and several people were left lying unconscious on the sidewalk.
The police quickly cordoned off the square after the shooting and announced that a young man wounded by a firearm was found after the intervention.
