In the center of Ljubljana, baklava for Guinness: Mayor Janković enjoyed Bosnian specialties

In the center of Ljubljana, at Prešern Square, everything smelled of Bosnian coffee and baklava today, where the Festival of Bosnian Food was held, writes the BH news agency Patria.

Today, diligent members of the Zemzem Association, the organizers of the Festival, also made a baklava for the Guinness Book of Records, which was almost 30 meters long. The proceeds from the sale will be directed towards the construction of the minaret of the mosque being built in the very center of Ljubljana.

The Mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković, also attended today's gathering. He tasted the prepared Bosnian specialties and posed for a photo next to Vispak's Golden džezva.

The Festival was also visited by the President of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Slovenia, Nedžad ef. Grabus, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Slovenia, Željko Jerkić, and the advisor at the Embassy, Mirsad Muhović.

Muhović told the Patria agency that this was a truly beautiful event.

- It was beautiful, especially since Mayor Janković also came. We all really enjoyed it - says Muhović.

A real Bosnian coffee in Vispak's Golden džezva was prepared for all visitors at the square. In addition to Bosnians and Herzegovinians living and working in Ljubljana, numerous citizens of Ljubljana joined them.

The Golden džezva has achieved great success in the Slovenian market in the last two years. Real Bosnian coffee is sold at over 1,000 points of sale, and there is almost no serious retail chain or merchant in Slovenia that does not offer Vispak's Golden džezva.

"It all started with our campaign 'We will drink it, God willing, in Brazil'. The Slovenians liked us with our original fan idea and the then Limited edition – Zlatna džezva coffee. We entered Mercator through the main door then, and after that, into other stores in Slovenia. Today, Zlatna džezva is a real discovery in this market for lovers of traditional coffee, but prepared the way we do it in Bosnia," said Armin Hodžić, Head of Marketing and Sales at Vispak d.d. Visoko.
