No one in BiH trusts the 'peacemaker' from Belgrade anymore

Goodbye BiH, welcome RSexit, Milorad Dodik said today in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska entity. Thus, the BiH Presidency member rounded off the story he has been promoting in recent days, announcing the secession of this entity from Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Although he started with announcements after the Decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, Milorad Dodik gained momentum after the Belgrade summit of Serbdom and Christianity. It is obvious that Dodik received a signal at that gathering to embark on this dangerous path. 

And Aleksandar Vučić must have given him that signal. The radical, or rather, Šešelj's student, is the most dangerous mine for the socio-security order of Kosovo, Montenegro, and especially Bosnia and Herzegovina. Aware of the loss of the former Serbian province and angry that Milo Đukanović does not allow him even a sliver of a chance to provoke conflicts in Montenegro, Aleksandar Vučić decided to use his pawn to stir up the situation in our country. 

The innocent face of a false peacemaker and a pro-European oriented politician can no longer deceive anyone. Emmanuele Macron recently told him as much, saying that while "Vučić talks about the EU, Russia calls the shots in Serbia". 

Neither in Bosnia and Herzegovina can Vučić's mask deceive anyone anymore. Since coming to power, Vučić has been chanting about respecting 'territorial integrity', while at the same time undermining both that integrity and the sovereignty of BiH. Bypassing protocol, Vučić enters BiH and "strengthens the ties of Serbs on both sides of the Drina". 

That kind of Vučić, with the burden of '100 Muslims for one Serb', is no longer a guarantor of peace and coexistence for anyone. Aleksandar Vučić can only be, and is, a dreamer of a Greater Serbia and two Serbian states on the borders of the Drina. Such a Vučić should not be any partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Because Serbia and its president have been lying for years that they are guarantors of the Dayton Peace Agreement and, based on those lies, have been fueling divisions within Bosnia and Herzegovina. The latest crisis in BiH was also prepared in the same Belgrade kitchen. 

However, Vučić and Dodik could eventually lead Serbs on both sides of the Drina into a wilderness of poverty and exhaustion, thereby giving them further arguments to leave their homes forever. Both Dodik and Vučić are aware that their attempt to create a Greater Serbia, modeled on the events of the '90s, can only bring them ultimate defeat. That is why they are saying that a solution must be found in the interest of peace. 

Aleksandar Vučić fears armed conflict because he is aware of Serbia's stretched position on three sides, on three political fronts. That is probably why he is calling for the division of BiH in peace, forgetting that the very part of BiH he wants to separate was created through aggression, genocide, war crimes, and the worst horrors inflicted on Bosniaks and Croats who lived in the territory of present-day RS. 

Alongside Vučić, following the pattern of aggression, stands the Serbian Orthodox Church, which is increasingly acting as a warmongering megaphone, instead of its primary role. Such a church undermines the constitutional and legal system of Montenegro, and has never stopped interfering in the political affairs of BiH. Nor has it ever stopped giving its blessing to the destruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The primary response to Dodik, Vučić, and the SOC should be a constitutional amendment. But not the dismantling, repackaging, and re-melting of the Dayton Peace Agreement. Dayton 2 is no longer an option. For its survival, peace, and future, Bosnia and Herzegovina needs a constitution like all modern and organized states have, and like Croatia and Serbia ultimately have. 

Through the adoption of this new constitution, it is necessary to rectify the historical injustices inflicted on the state of BiH in Dayton. Dayton was concluded quickly to stop the war. A constitution in peacetime must and should be drafted according to the postulates of democracy. Such a constitution would make life easier for all peoples and citizens in BiH.

Then, the arguments for interference in BiH's internal political affairs would be permanently removed from Vučić, as well as from the western neighbor.
