TRUMP'S MAN IN BELGRADE Serbia must recognize Kosovo and abolish tariffs or the US will withdraw

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Special envoy of US President Donald Trump for the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue, Richard Grenell, brought the same message after Pristina to Belgrade.

"Kosovo must abolish tariffs, and Serbia must stop the campaign to withdraw recognition of Kosovo," Grenell said in Belgrade at a joint press conference after a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, B92 reports.

Asked whether this is fair, Grenell stated: "When we talk about whether something is fair or not, it is not up to me to discuss that; it is up to me to bring the two sides closer, and it is up to the sides to decide. The sides will tell me what they think and what they want. I am trying to focus on a better future for the people of Kosovo and Serbia. We must do everything to overcome what everyone sees as a conflict. If both sides do not sit down and reach an agreement, we will withdraw."

He added that in Pristina, at meetings with all leaders and the business community, he conveyed the same offer.
