(Patria) - A child drowned in the Cetina River in the Croatian town of Trilj last night.
The police received a report around 9:30 PM, and duty services were immediately dispatched to the scene, including four members of the Volunteer Fire Department "Trilj".
Unofficially, the victim was a 13-year-old girl from the village of Košute near Trilj.
"Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the child's body was pulled to the shore, and unfortunately, after resuscitation efforts, she passed away.
According to the facts established so far, this was an unfortunate accident," announced the Police Administration of Split-Dalmatia County.
