Tokić: Dodik, with the help of Russia and Belgrade, is trying to implement the "Ukrainization" of BiH through a referendum

Sejfudin Tokić, president of the Bosniak Movement for Equality of Peoples, commented on the current political situation and the announced unconstitutional referendum in the smaller BiH entity with a statement for the public, carried by the Patria News Agency. 

- The Dayton Peace Agreement ended the long war in 1995, and its denial and destruction by the Greater Serbian political oligarchy of Milorad Dodik, with the support of the regime in Belgrade, creates the conditions for the interrupted war in BiH and the region to continue. The state leadership of BiH, and especially the representatives of the Bosniak people and all Bosnian patriots in the institutions of BiH and the entity, must not show naivety as in 1991 ("there will be no war, sleep peacefully") and must be prepared to prevent the referendum and the dismantling of the state, even if the OHR and the international community do nothing concrete beyond verbal condemnation.

The Bosniak people and patriots of BiH, wherever they live on Earth, must prevent the unconstitutional actions and activities of dismantling the state of BiH by the leadership of a part of the Serbian people in a part of BiH, using all available means. There is no doubt that Dodik's Greater Serbian oligarchy, through the referendum and permanent activities in recent years, is trying to implement, with the support of the Russian Federation, a kind of "Ukrainization" of the sovereign state of BiH.

The Bosniak people have negative experiences with declarative condemnations of Greater Serbian policy and crimes from the period of 1992-1995, when, despite clear international obligations, they allowed and participated in the genocide against Bosniaks and the greatest crimes after World War II and Hitler.

The Bosniak Movement warns all members of our people and patriots of the state of BiH that an attempt is underway to achieve the goals of the policies of Milošević and Karadžić from the last war, which is the destruction of the state of BiH and the Bosniak people.

Every Bosniak, wherever they live on Earth, must be aware of the truth that they and their generations have no future without preserving a sovereign and integral state of BiH as the motherland of all Bosniaks. Bosniaks, be prepared to defend Bosnia, states Tokić's statement.
