The Federal Civil Protection Administration and the Civil Protection of KS, based on the request for international assistance, today sent a team of 14 people to Skopje to help the population after the floods that ravaged Macedonia a few days ago, in which 22 people died, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
FUCZ is sending a team of 10 people with equipment (high-pressure water pumps), and the Civil Protection of KS is sending four firefighters with two fire trucks (tankers) and accompanying equipment.
All members of this team are trained and equipped for rapid response in case of disasters.
The Republic of Macedonia, during the floods in May 2014, sent a team of firefighters with a vehicle and equipment who, together with firefighters and members of FUCZ, provided assistance to endangered areas.
The teams will return from Macedonia on August 21, 2016.
