(Patria) - The driver and passenger died last night at 1:35 AM in the village of Ljubičevo near Požarevac in Serbia when a truck and a taxi collided directly.
The driver of the Peugeot, D.B. (66), was driving in the oncoming lane, resulting in a head-on collision with a truck moving from Mala Krsna towards Požarevac.
The truck was driven by S.M. (48) from Ćuprija.
Due to the force of the impact, the car was thrown off the road onto the island in front of the gas station, and the truck veered into a ditch beside the road.
The driver and passenger of the car died, while the truck driver was not injured, Serbian media report.
