(Patria) - MPs in the Serbian Parliament continue their session today, and the government and opposition will discuss the proposed budget rebalance, excise duties, but also the controversial Law on Business Companies, and the election of a new Minister of Economy. The opposition previously announced that it would block the parliament's work and demanded extraordinary parliamentary and Belgrade elections by the end of the year.
MP Nebojša Zelenović said that after the question-and-answer session is over, they will proceed with blocking the parliament's work.
“We have been protesting for four months, you have been silent for four months, letting time pass. We believe that since you will not do it, people who are ready to take responsibility, who are ready to restore normality and civilized conversation to the public space and to fight hatred and violence, will do it, since you do not want to,” he said.
MP Miroslav Aleksić asked the Prime Minister a question.
“During the debate that took place after the tragedies in May, she said that she had put her resignation as Prime Minister in an envelope. I ask her why she has not submitted that envelope resignation yet and I call on her to submit it, because Serbia is falling apart under her government,” he said.
The KS Government will not change the coefficient for medical staff, Vranić stated the salaries
He emphasized that they are responsible.
“The opposition is not leading the country, you are,” he stated.
MP Radomir Lazović reiterated the demand for extraordinary elections at the session.
“I ask President Aleksandar Vučić to declare immediately and urgently whether he will call Belgrade and parliamentary elections by the end of the year,” he said.
Until they get an answer, he said, this session will not be held.
