Sveçla: I am not against the Serbian people, but against Serbia's chauvinistic projects

(Patria) - Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla said today that he is not against the Serbian people, but against "Serbia's chauvinistic projects" and criminals, Serbian media report.

"Criminals have no nationality, because they are mixed. They are the ones who want to present their activities in nationalist colors," Sveçla said in an interview with KoSSev.

According to him, now the biggest criminals are the "biggest patriots," and that is why it is necessary to stop that.

"We need the attention of ordinary citizens, attention for a normal life, to support such categories and to fight against these other categories," the Kosovo minister said.

He says he does not agree that he is perhaps the most hated Kosovo official in the north of Kosovo and claims that he is constantly in contact with Serbian citizens, non-governmental organizations and officials at various levels, but that these meetings are not public.
