Sunny Neum full of tourists from BiH, Serbia, France, Germany...

(Patria) - Neum dawned sunny and warm today, and after a longer period of unstable weather, tourists can finally enjoy swimming at a pleasant 26 degrees.

The beaches are full of visitors this weekend from all over our country, as well as from Serbia, Russia, France, Hungary, Germany, Poland...

Caterers and hoteliers are satisfied with the turnout, and a large influx of tourists is expected with the improvement of weather conditions and the start of annual leave in the coming days.

- The weather forecast brought us good news and the apartments were immediately filled. We hope it will be sunny in the coming weeks and months and that the weather will be nice in September too - say representatives from Villa Gabriel, which is one of the most luxurious and beautiful in Neum.

Caterers in Neum finally have reason to be satisfied as their establishments are well-occupied.

Ten ćevapi with fries in one of the grill-pizzerias in the only BiH city on the sea costs 15 KM, which is how much you have to pay for chicken fillet or pizza capricciosa. The price of a hamburger is 13 KM, and grilled squid is 24 KM.

You can also eat good pies in Neum. Three years ago, the burek shop Sarajka was opened, which is run with considerable success by the married couple Meliha and Jasmin Merdžanović.

- The sun has finally shone on Neum and a large number of tourists have arrived immediately. This season started a bit worse, but already we can hardly keep up with making enough dough for pies. We are proud of our burek, sirnica, krompiruša, and zeljanica - say representatives from Sarajka.

For about ten years, legendary Sarajevo footballer Predrag Pašić has spent most of his summers in Neum, where he bought an apartment.

He took advantage of the nice weather for sunbathing and swimming with his wife, as well as his little friend Eva.

- I have found my peace in Neum during the summer months. The weather has finally improved and Neum has immediately come alive with many tourists from all over the region and Europe - says Pašić.

The completion of the Stolac-Neum magistral road, which connects the only BiH city on the sea with the rest of the country, is greatly contributing to the increased visits, as the journey to Neum is easier and much faster.
