(Patria) - This season, too, on the Croatian beach with the most deck chairs - the one in Baška Voda - scenes of arguments between concessionaires and guests with towels have not been absent, and the latest such incident was recorded by a reader of Jutarnji list.
He, namely, sent a video of an enraged guest over whose towel a concessionaire, one of as many as 114, placed a plastic deck chair, which the guest then, in a fit of rage, threw into the sea and called the municipal inspection.
- Take a picture, take a picture, the municipal inspector is coming. Don't put your things on my things. I warned you nicely - the guest with the towel is heard and seen, while in the background the concessionaire retrieves his deck chair from the sea and returns it to the beach, this time next to the towel.
What happened once the municipal inspector arrived?
What happened once the municipal inspector arrived is unknown, but Baška Voda is known as the destination with the largest number of concession permits for setting up deck chairs and umbrellas, often contrary to regulations, which angers locals.
Namely, holders of concession permits often block the entire beach with deck chairs, which is against regulations requiring them to keep them in a pile and set them up only after a customer requests and pays for them. The rest of the beach must be available for use by guests who do not wish to rent deck chairs.
Among the holders of concession permits, there are also many family members and friends of the municipal mayor Joško Roščić, which is why many have called him out publicly, reports Jutarnji list.
