Explanation arrives after Dodik's visit to Serbia: Why was he exempt from quarantine?

(Patria) - The President of the entity Republika Srpska, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbian people, and the ministers in the Government of Republika Srpska (in their capacity as members of the Republika Srpska Emergency Situations Headquarters) are exempt from the Conclusion on the implementation and organization of the mandatory quarantine measure, according to the response of the RS Government to N1's question.

"Will Dodik also go into home isolation and/or quarantine and will he be tested!? Do the rules apply to everyone - to those of us who respect health recommendations, who have been in isolation and tested, and to those who make them, but (do not) respect them themselves?", asked the President of the PDP, Branislav Borenović, today after Dodik's visit to Serbia.

As reminded by the RS Government, the Republika Srpska Emergency Situations Headquarters adopted the Conclusion on the implementation and organization of the mandatory quarantine measure for responding to the outbreak of the disease caused by the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Republika Srpska on March 23, 2020, in which, under point 19, the following is stated:

"Notwithstanding point Z of this conclusion, the President of Republika Srpska, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, and the ministers in the Government of Republika Srpska (in their capacity as members of the Republika Srpska Emergency Situations Headquarters) are not subject to the obligation of imposing a quarantine measure in the case of international travel when performing duties within the emergency situation."

The President and Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and Ana Brnabić, met today in Belgrade with the member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik.
