Stefanović: Serbian Government Has Not Yet Taken a Stance on BiH's Lawsuit

Serbian Minister of Interior Nebojša Stefanović assessed today that an eventual request by BiH for a revision of the lawsuit against Serbia for aggression and genocide before the International Court of Justice in The Hague is not in the spirit of good neighborly relations, Belgrade media report, Patria reports.

He told reporters in Belgrade that the Serbian Government has not yet taken an official stance on these announcements from BiH.

"The Serbian Government has not yet taken a stance, and I think it will declare itself when that happens," said Stefanović, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister.

Stefanović, noting that he was speaking in a personal capacity, also assessed that such a move by BiH would not be in the spirit of good neighborly relations, reconciliation, regional stability, and economic development in the region.
