What is happening in Croatia: Infected chicken meat withdrawn from sale again

The Ministry of Agriculture of Croatia announced that salmonella, after fresh chicken meat was withdrawn from sale in Zagreb, was also found in meat imported from Poland. Escherichia coli was found in meat from the producer Perutnina Ptuj-PIPO from Čakovec, writes Patria.

Frozen minced mixed meat and frozen chopped chicken meat from Poland, as well as fresh poultry meat - chicken wings from the producer Perutnina Ptuj-PIPO from Čakovec, have been withdrawn from sale.

Salmonella was found in frozen minced meat produced and frozen on May 11, and it originates from Poland. This product states that the expiry date is May 9, 2017.
