(Patria) - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić says the extradition of former Vice President of the Srpska Lista, Milan Radoičić, to Pristina is impossible.
- All court proceedings will be conducted before domestic courts - Dačić said in an interview for the Beta agency, commenting on the arrest warrant issued for Radoičić by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
Interpol has issued an arrest warrant for Milan Radoičić due to the armed attack in Banjska.
The information about the arrest warrant was confirmed to RSE by the Minister in the Government of Kosovo, Nenad Rašić, stating that it was issued at the request of the Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs, through the United Nations Mission (UNMIK).
An armed group of Serbs attacked the Kosovo police on September 24 in Banjska in northern Kosovo, killing Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku in the process. Three attackers of Serbian nationality were subsequently killed in the exchange of fire.
Milan Radoičić took responsibility for the attack in Banjska, stating that he personally organized the attack and all logistical preparations, and that he did not inform anyone about these plans.
Kosovo has accused Serbia of being behind the attack, which official Belgrade denies.
