Serbian historian Bešlin in Sarajevo: How Yugoslavia was created and how it functioned

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Historian Milivoj Bešlin is a guest at the lecture "A Century of Yugoslavia", organized by the Center for Historical Research at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo on Wednesday at 6 PM.

"We will review the history of Yugoslavia, from its creation to its dissolution; how it functioned, what its key problems were, how the national question was resolved, on what principles the first and on what principles the second Yugoslavia were created," Bešlin told Patria.

Bešlin is one of the most prominent young Serbian historians. He received his doctorate in 2015 from the University of Novi Sad. He is a sharp critic of nationalist regimes in the former Yugoslavia.
