Serbia tested nearly 700,000 residents, 26,193 cases confirmed

(Patria) - In Serbia, 311 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the last 24 hours, and eight people died.

8,395 samples were tested, and 146 patients are currently on respirators.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, a total of 26,193 cases of coronavirus have been recorded, and 590 people have died. To date, a total of 686,488 people have been tested in Serbia.

As for Croatia, 36 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded, a total of 738 are ill, and four people have died, the National Civil Protection Headquarters reported on Sunday.

Among the infected, 131 patients are hospitalized, of which six patients are on respirators.

From February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, to date, a total of 5,260 people infected with the new coronavirus have been recorded, of whom 149 have died, and 4,373 have recovered.

Currently, 2,662 people are in self-isolation.

To date, a total of 121,320 people have been tested, of which 984 in the last 24 hours.
