The Serbian Parliament adopted amendments to the Criminal Code on Wednesday evening, introducing a new criminal offense in Serbia, which is the punishment for denying genocide and war crimes.
Tanjug writes that it is necessary for genocide or war crimes to be established by a final verdict of a court in Serbia or the International Criminal Court, and that those who deny genocide or war crimes can be prosecuted for it.
In this way, Serbia fulfills its obligation from the decision of the Council of the EU, reports NAP.
