
Polling stations in Serbia opened this morning at 7 AM. Citizens will be able to exercise their right to vote until 8 PM, when polling stations close and the election silence ends, and CESID will announce the first preliminary results from Serbia around 9 PM.
For the parliamentary elections in Serbia, 20 lists with a total of 3,270 candidates are competing for 250 seats, while 15 candidate lists are competing for 120 deputies in the Assembly of Vojvodina.
It was also decided to reduce the number of polling station locations in Kosovo from 25 to 21 for security reasons.
The total number of voters in Serbia for all local self-government units at all polling stations is 6,739,441, and citizens will be able to exercise their right to vote at 8,378 polling stations.
Citizens are electing the 11th convocation of the republican parliament since the introduction of multi-party system in Serbia, as well as the new convocation of the provincial parliament and the largest number of local self-governments.
