The Islamic Community hopes to welcome the next Ramadan in the new mosque being built in Ljubljana.
Slovenian Delo writes about the impressive mosque being built in the center of the Slovenian capital. The premises for underground garages, a fitness center, and restaurants have already been built, and experts are currently constructing the minaret, which will be 40 meters high and from which all of Ljubljana will be visible.
Secretary of the Islamic Community Nevzet Porić explains that the call to prayer will be heard from the minaret five times a day, but that the adhan will definitely not cause problems for the surroundings.
Delo also writes that the Ljubljana mosque is one of the most demanding construction projects, which is confirmed by some of the workers on the mosque's construction. One of them said that he has been in construction for over 40 years, but that the mosque is one of the most demanding projects he has worked on, with many details planned by the architects, reports Patria.
