Slovenia seeks negotiations on BiH similar to those of Serbia and Kosovo

Slovenia is asking the European Union to launch high-level negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, modeled after the negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo, the BH news agency Patria (NAP) has learned.

Foreign ministers of the member states in Brussels are discussing the situation in our country today and considering ideas for a new approach, given the years-long blockade of European integration. Slovenia, as we have previously reported, strongly advocates for a change in approach.

Thus, the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karl Erjavec, stated during the lunch discussion that Brussels should launch a strong diplomatic offensive in BiH, similar to the one in Serbia and Kosovo, which ultimately resulted in an agreement that is still valid.

Erjavec believes that the High Representative for Foreign Affairs of the EU, Catherine Ashton, should lead everything.
