Skopljaković: The greater Dodik's concern, the fewer Croats there are

(Patria) - Božo Skopljaković, president of HS BiH, in response to Milorad Dodik's visit to Croatia, stated that "this visit can be interpreted as support from official Zagreb for the member of the BiH Presidency from the Serb people, whom HDZ BiH, led by Mr. Čović, see as the protector of Croats in BiH".

"Member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, on the occasion of his visit to Zagreb, stated that he is for peace and stability, although just a few days earlier, specifically during the celebration of September 15th, as the newly established holiday called 'Day of Serbian Unity', he stated that he is for the unification of Republika Srpska and Serbia, a goal that Serbs will never give up. 'Today we have two states, Serbia and RS, and the aspiration is to be one state,' said Dodik, even though Mr. Vučić openly told him that Republika Srpska is not a state but an entity in BiH.

Is the announcement of this unification in the interest of the Republic of Croatia, or did they invite Mr. Dodik to warn him that the Republic of Croatia will never agree to such a thing? Whatever it is, we see that there has been no condemnation or reaction to Mr. Dodik's 'peaceful' statements, who through his long-term actions has succeeded in reducing the number of Croats in RS to a national minority," said Skopljaković.

At meetings in Zagreb, the term advocating for constitutionality was often used.

"Many forget that Croats and Serbs can thank Bosniak and foreign Constitutional Court judges for their constitutionality, who voted for the constitutionality of all three peoples throughout the territory of BiH, while Croat and Serb Constitutional Court judges voted against it. We know which parties have been in power all these years and who elects the Constitutional Court judges.

We hereby call on official Zagreb to establish communication and cooperation with the institutions of authority in BiH, because only in this way can we achieve the necessary cooperation for the progress of BiH towards Euro-Atlantic integration, in which the Republic of Croatia, with its position and experience, can help us a great deal.

Mr. Dodik is not and will never be a representative who will advocate for the interests of Croats in BiH, because the greater his concern, the fewer Croats there are," Skopljaković noted.
