Skopljaković: HDZ must admit mistakes for the difficult position of Croats in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Croatian Party of BiH calls on HDZ BiH to admit mistakes and take responsibility for the extremely difficult economic and social position of the Croatian people in BiH, which is why citizens are, as they stated, "witnessing the cataclysmic irreversible emigration of all ages of our people, with entire families."

- Since the overthrow of the communist regime and democratic changes, HDZ BiH, with brief exceptions, has been constantly in power, and instead of the officials of that party, together with other partner parties, creating an organized, economically stable, and prosperous state in which everyone could live decently, they have brought us to begging, misery, and extreme uncertainty.

For years, we have witnessed the exodus of Croats, but also of other peoples, from BiH, while the clientele of HDZ BiH shamelessly enriches itself and robs its people.

The Croatian Party of BiH expresses its astonishment at the messages of the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH and leader of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, at the conference "Croats of BiH - Demographic Reality" in Mostar, stating that the demographic reality or the image of the Croatian people can only be viewed holistically, warning that "someone's policy" was based on the departure, disappearance, or encouragement of the departure of some peoples from these areas."

It is not Bosniak parties in power in Central Bosnia, Posavina, Žepče, Usora, Livno, or HNK, but precisely Čović's party, and these "Croatian" areas are demographically disfigured. It is extremely audacious to point fingers at powerful Western countries that allegedly drain the workforce from BiH.

Our country is God-given, rich in natural resources and talented people, but HDZ BiH and partner parties from other nations have made an effort to plunder and regress it, and that is the key reason for the mass emigration of Croats and all other citizens of this country - stated the Croatian Party of BiH.
