Presidency Sessions: BiH will not join "mini Schengen", two votes for Kosovo's recognition

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The decision on BiH joining the "mini Schengen" was not adopted at today's session of the BiH Presidency, BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić confirmed to journalists after the sessions.

He said that the opinion of the BiH Council of Ministers was requested on this matter.

Also, at an extraordinary session, the request of the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik to move the BiH Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was rejected, but Komšić's proposal to recognize Kosovo was not accepted either. Komšić and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović voted for this proposal, while Dodik voted against it.

"Kosovo is an independent state, that is a reality and one should not run away from it. What Dodik can do is go before the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and act like a Serb, that's all Dodik will do," said Komšić.

At today's Presidency session, Dodik requested a minute of silence for war criminal Momčilo Krajišnik, and Komšić told journalists, "you can imagine what happened".
