Seselj's return a call to arms: Croatian army to be urgently sent to the border with Serbia!

HSP President Daniel Srb stated at a press conference today that Croatia "needs to urgently send armed forces to the border with Serbia", assessing that the return of Vojislav Šešelj to Serbia is planned and dangerous for the future of relations between Serbia and Croatia, Index.hr reports, as stated by the BH news agency Patria.

He emphasized that both the Government and President Josipović need to react urgently and secure with the army the places where eventual provocations could occur, such as Baranja and Vukovar, as well as the entire Croatian border with Serbia.

Srb said that the "return of Vojislav Šešelj is planned as part of the project of 'Ukrainization of Serbia'", and added that if the Croatian state does not secure its borders, "HSP will gather volunteers who will defend the borders".

"We in Croatia must be aware that within a month, Šešelj will have over a hundred thousand people at his rallies, including his like-minded individuals from Croatia," Srb said. He added that "current Serbian politicians are Šešelj's students and former associates".

He objected that "inaction regarding the release of Šešelj and his warmongering rhetoric will not protect Croatia", and that stories about him being a "maniac and a madman" are just stories, because behind Šešelj's mission lies a carefully planned project.

The HSP president believes that first political provocations, and "then some other forms of action" can be expected very soon in Croatian territory. This particularly applies to multi-ethnic communities, which will all result in renewed tensions in relations between the two countries, Srb said.

Because of all this, Srb emphasized, "HSP demands the urgent deployment of the Croatian army to Baranja and other areas", and if this is not done, "HSP will call on volunteers to secure the Croatian borders".
