Šešelj burned the Croatian flag in front of the Palace of Justice in Belgrade

About a hundred supporters of the Serbian Radical Party, along with SRS leader Vojislav Šešelj, gathered on the plateau in front of the Palace of Justice where the trial of Nemanja Šarović, deputy president of SRS, will be held today. He is being tried for burning NATO, EU, US, and Kosovo flags in front of the Presidency of Serbia in 2012, Serbian media report, as reported by the BiH news agency Patria.

Vojislav Šešelj addressed the supporters, stating that he would not cooperate with the Hague Tribunal and would offer passive resistance during his arrest. Šešelj then burned a Croatian flag in front of them.

- They seem to have been hit on the head with a mace and are behaving unreasonably. That is why I came today to send an understandable message to the Croatian Ustasha state by burning their flag as well - said Šešelj, burning the flag.
