Hague indictee for war crimes Vojislav Šešelj, in an interview published on Thursday by the Sarajevo magazine "Dani", threatened that he would come to Croatia "armed and on a tank", and once again confirmed that he does not intend to voluntarily return to custody in the Netherlands regardless of the decision of the Appeals Chamber of the Hague Tribunal, reports the Patria News Agency.
- I will go there (to Croatia) one day armed, on a tank. To liberate the Republic of Serbian Krajina," Šešelj said in an interview he gave before he set fire to the flag of the Republic of Croatia in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Šešelj also confirmed that his constant goal is to provoke the public in Croatia, and now adds that he is satisfied with the results he has achieved thereby, claiming that he directly influenced the outcome of the recent presidential elections.
- During the last presidential campaign, I praised Ivo Josipović, for example, with all my might, which is why he lost," said Šešelj.
Commenting on the order of the Hague Tribunal to return him to custody, Šešelj confirmed that he will not go to Scheveningen voluntarily and therefore expects to be arrested in Belgrade.
