Seventh presidential election: Croatia chooses between Grabar Kitarović and Milanović

CROATIA, (Patria) - The second round of the presidential election in Croatia will be held today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This is the seventh presidential election, and 3,860,000 voters can vote for Kolinda Grabar Kitarović (HDZ) and Zoran Milanović. In the first round, Milanović had about 54,000 votes more than Grabar-Kitarović.

More than 24,000 observers have been registered for today's election.

Special attention will be paid to the voting process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose votes Grabar-Kitarović is counting on. The HDZ of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President Dragan Čović have called in paid advertisements for "all Croats to vote for our president." Analyzing voter turnout in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first round, with about 24,000 votes, expectations are that there will be no significant increase in turnout.

On the other hand, in Croatia, more than 2.5 million voters are expected to turn out, which is more than in the first round of the election on December 23.
