Sead ef. Nasufović new reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia

Sead ef. Nasufović is the new reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia, elected at the session of the Sandžak Majlis of the Islamic Community of Serbia and members of the Supreme Assembly of IZS yesterday in Sjenica, writes NAP.

Nasufović was the only candidate for reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia and he will replace Adem ef. Zilkić, who held that position for two terms since 2007.

Ef. Nasufović was born in Bijelo Polje in 1979. He graduated from the "Gazi Isa-beg" madrasa in Novi Pazar, and after that from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo. He is a graduate Islamic theologian, Master of Islamic Pedagogy, Master Philologist Serbian/Bosnian studies. He also worked in journalism.
