LJUBLJANA, (Patria) - Janez Janša's SDS has won 25 seats in the Slovenian Parliament, and Marjan Šarec's List has won 13 seats, according to initial election results in Slovenia.
Polling stations opened this morning in Slovenia, where citizens elected a new Parliament. They elected 90 mandates from among 25 parties.
Pre-election polls also predicted a victory for Janez Janša's Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS), which will be their third time receiving a mandate to form a center-right government.
According to current indicators, SMC has won 10 seats, as has Levica, SD has won 9, NSi 7 seats, Alenka Bratušek's Party 5, DeSUS 5, and SNS 4 seats.
