SDA: Milanović should do everything to ensure the accused Jelić is extradited to BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Awarding recognition and decorations to Zlatan Mijo Jelić, accused of serious war crimes in BiH, represents an anti-civilizational act by the Croatian authorities, which is contrary to European values, the SDA announced.

"Croatian President Zoran Milanović knows very well that the BiH Prosecutor's Office indicted Zlatan Mijo Jelić in 2015 for serious war crimes that are part of the joint criminal enterprise for which the Hague Tribunal issued final verdicts for the known "six". 
 
Zlatan Mijo Jelić, abusing his dual citizenship, fled from BiH, hid in Croatia, and President Milanović can at least use his authority and powers to ensure Jelić is extradited to the BiH judiciary.
 
Instead, Milanović decorates such a person and sends a very bad message that there is still no readiness for a sincere confrontation with the truth and for rebuilding trust.  

This action by the Croatian president will further burden relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia," the SDA announced.
